ZF gearboxes have no side aperture — where does the PTO go?
At the rear of the transmission. Every ZF unit in our range is rear-mounted with Flange or ISO mounting, which is why a ZF PTO and a side-mounted Japanese-gearbox PTO are not interchangeable.
How are ZF units engaged?
By air pressure, from a switch in the cab — every ZF unit in our range is air-shift.
